Lumsing Battery Power Bank

Recently I was contacted by the company Lumsing to see if I had any interest in doing a review on one of their power banks. I’m a sucker for free electronics so, I jumped at the chance. They sent me the 10400mAh Lumsing Power Bank #LUM-008-01. While I was waiting for it to come I watched a few video reviews that other had done on it. Most of them were just unboxing videos (where the person just opens the box and tells you what is inside). I wanted to get some real information about what it could do but, I could not find anyone who had actually tested this little battery pack out. I thought, that’s gonna change now. I am going to put this thing through the paces.

The first thing I had to do was to completely drain the battery in my cell phone. It usually takes an average day to empty the battery in my phone so, I had to step up my game a bit and it didn’t matter if dinner was ready or not. This was done with the help of Hulu, Netflix and Clash of Clans. It was tiresome work but, it just had to be done …. LOL. Next I gave the Lumsing a complete charge to give it the full opportunity to show off what it could do. Over the next three days, the Lumsing power bank was the only way I charged my cell phone. Using the Lumsing took a little longer to recharge my phone than plugging it in the wall. Three day worth of power for my phone is pretty good. My Kocaso battery couldn’t even give my phone one full charge. Once the Lumsing was completely empty, I connected it to a wall outlet to see just how long it would take to recharge. It took 15 hours for the battery to fully charge.

The Lumsing 10400mAh Power Bank #LUM-008-01 has two USB outputs. One is 5V/1A, this is for your cell phone. The other is 5V/2.1A, this is for your tablet. The input is a Micro USB 5V/1.5A. It weights 8.35oz so, it is a little heavier than most smartphones. The dimensions are 5.43 X 2.35 X 0.86 inches, just a little taller but, more narrow than most cell smartphones.

It has become part of my EDC (everyday carry) and I always have it in whatever car I am in. I still use the cigarette lighter in the car for charging my phone while on the go but, I feel a lot better knowing that the Lumsing is sitting in the glove box just in case I need it. With a price tag, here on Amazon, currently under $25, this is a pretty good deal. Over the next few months I can defiantly see getting The Wife and Babygirl each one of these.
