When people find out I am a prepper they always ask me the same question. What are you prepping for? I tell them that "I am prepping for life without service.  There are too many things that can go wrong for something to not go wrong. If the power goes out for the night, I am prepared. If I lose my job, we'll still have food. If all government services shut down, we'll be okay."

This website represents my journey in prepping and a way for me to talk about prepping apart from my YouTube page.  I have done a lot of videos and there is a lot of information I have shared.  Most new subscribers will watch a couple of videos and then only the new ones that come out after that.  I do the same thing when I sub to a channel.  No one has time to watch 300 videos from that guy they just subbed to.

I have found that there is so much information that gets missed.  I know this because I get asked the same question all the time.  Let’s call those frequently asked questions or FAQ’s for short.  Just about every topic on this page will have a FAQ section where you can get the answers to all of the questions I get asked.  At the bottom of the contact page is a way for you to ask me a question I have not yet answered or just to say hey.

I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t know everything although; The Wife will tell you I don't without being asked.  I want this to be a place where we, as a community, can share ideas and learn from each other.  By all accounts, I'm still new to prepping and I need your help.  I will do my part by keeping you all up to date on the things I am doing.  I have sections on gardening, emergency power, rain catchment and more.  You guys need to double check my work, advise me on how to do better and show me things I have never thought of.  You can also talk to other preppers on the forums and shout box.  So sit back, relax and enjoy that site.

P.S.  Follow me on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and any other social media site The Wife tells me I should try.

P.P.S.  I'm a dotcom now.  Suck it third grade teacher who said I wouldn't amount to anything!
